CHALLENGE
An annual report is a company’s yearly report to shareholders, documenting its activities and finances in the previous financial year. But it is also a key medium to share the company’s mission and values to its audiences.
We needed to demonstrate how the team at Canadian Apartment Properties REIT came together as a unified group despite facing adversity in a time of a global pandemic and social unrest while delivering a strong balance sheet and a commitment to Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) policies as part of their 5-year strategic plan.
SOLUTION
Our design strategy brought Canadian Apartment Properties REIT’s refreshed brand identity to life. With COVID-19 restrictions in place we used iconography and imagery as an alternative to original photography to show elements of growth, teamwork, and resilience. The annual report, Rising to the challenge, together illustrated key ESG initiatives that reinforced organizational strategy, while highlighted a twenty-two-year track record of growth and strong performance.
We featured Canadian Apartment Properties REIT employees whose passion and dedication across the country was continuously delivered to residents, communities, and investors.
